Bright Blessings to You!

Bright Blessings Onederous TribeIt is Spring… and for many people who celebrate it, it is Easter today. I wanted to take a minute to bless everyone and share my wishes to you and yours for a beautiful day and a wonderful season!

I feel like Easter is a beautiful reminder that nothing truly dies. I feel like that is the biggest message we can take from the story of Jesus rising on this day. There is no end to life.

Being a medium, I get the opportunity to speak to people who have passed on, who have died and who have crossed over. What I hear from them is that we don’t really die… we only return to source… and really, if you want to get into it, we were never separated from source to begin with. That’s the message I hear over and over. This life in our human bodies is a temporary thing. While we are in these bodies we get the feeling that we’re alone… that we aren’t connected to anything. But that is an illusion. We are living in the dream world… and what is beyond this human existence is the real world.

And there is no death. Not really. That is the grandest part of this illusion of our life… that we believe it somehow ends. And it doesn’t. I promise you that. And your loved ones who have crossed over want you to know that they love you and they will see you again… and that they are never truly gone.

So, I always appreciate Easter and the message it brings. Whatever anyone believes is okay with me. I don’t necessarily believe that Jesus died for our sins (because I don’t believe in sin), but I do believe that he died to show us that life is truly eternal. Everything is a cycle. Birth and death and rebirth… it is a beautiful thing.

Wishing you and yours the brightest of blessings… today and every day!

Healthy Inspired Living | Menopause

You’re sitting down with your friend for dinner and all of a sudden you feel this flush come over you. It’s surprising! You can feel your face get flushed….it’s got to be flushed because you feel like your head is on fire. You tell your friend “wow! It’s sure getting hot in here!” and she says “really? I’m ok” and she looks at you with a bit of pity. Welcome to your first hot flash! You knew it was coming sooner or later. Your cycle was getting out of sorts and if you have to, you’ll admit you’ve become a bit more irritable than normal.

Healthy Inspired Living Menopause Onederous TribeThe first thing to realize is that this is a natural progression of life. It’s not a disease or illness, although that’s how some physicians may make you feel. It’s important that you and your doctor are on the same page. There are many different choices for handling those pesky symptoms of menopause and you want your doctor to support you in your journey. Do your research, talk with your doctor and if you’re not getting the support you’d like….get a new doctor.

Here’s a thought…..look at that first hot flash as a wakeup call to take care of yourself. Yes, I know you’re busy, busy, busy. But here’s the truth. If you don’t make time for your health now, you’ll have to make time for sickness later. We have to be intentional in making that time. It’s simply not going to magically happen. So schedule that time at the gym or for a walk and honor it. Commit to eating healthier and making better choices. Your lifestyle can have a tremendous impact on how you feel as you go through menopause.

This is such an interesting time as your body goes through “The Change”. You’ll hear from friends that sailed right through menopause and then others have a much harder time. Although it’s natural, it is a complex issue and there’s no one solution that’s the right fit for everyone.

If you’re looking for natural solutions that actually work, contact me and we’ll sit down together and come up with an action plan to get your symptoms under control and feel great!

Improve your Personal Life with a New Career | Inspired Action

Improve Your Personal Life New Career Inspired ActionFor some of us, improving our personal life is finding a new career. If we are working in what we love to do, that rubs off on the way we view things and gives us a better perspective on life. You have to consider the many ways of success we can practice to become a well-rounded person finding his or her dream job. You have to believe in you and what you want. Make it your reality.

With a solid plan, whether to change jobs or start a new business can become a reality. You should never let the fear of change stop you from achieving something that you really want. New is overwhelming for most of us, but if you take time out to research and do proper networking, you’ll find the transition will be less stressful.

Find a career you love

Whether your in mid career, a student, new to the work force, or an entrepreneur it gets difficult to gain satisfaction and accomplishing your full potential when your stuck doing something you hate. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, so why not do something that you like doing. Keep in mind that doing what you like is often complicated but if you would like to improve your personal life here are a few steps:

Decide why you want to change careers

It is important to know whether you are moving away from something or moving towards something. It is difficult to identify your ideal job when you are overwhelmed by negative issues from your current situation. If you are making a career change, keep all of your options open to make a fresh start.

What are your goals?

Write down a normal aspect of a normal day. Outline what it is exactly that you want. Such as what is your work schedule, the positions and tasks, what is your ideal salary to live comfortably, and are you an entrepreneur at heart. Continuously write these goals in a notebook or journal.

What are your interests?

Your interests do not mean this should be your new job or business, it is just the beginning of self exploration. The key is to identify what truly interests you and how you can incorporate those interests into the work field. What are your favorite hobbies? What books do you like to read? What sections of the newspaper to you turn to first? What are your favorite television shows? After keeping track of this for a week, you should discover a trend that should narrow down to two or three topics of interests.

What are your abilities?

Write down a list of abilities that come easily to you. By doing something that your good at will not only greater your chance of succeeding, but give a sense of satisfaction to your work. You will find that you have hidden abilities. Once you pull up those hidden abilities use them, see how you like them and put them to good use.

Many people walk through life failing to realize who they are and what they are capable of doing to its entirety. Do not be afraid to learn who you are. It will take some time. It took me over thirty years, but it was well worth the trial and errors made along the way to learn who I am.

Passion at Home | Inspired Action

Getting passionate about your career and blazing a glorious path at the office is great. But don’t let your loved ones suffer from a lack of passion at home. A proper balance has to be struck by giving love to your spouse and children too.

Passion at Home Inspired ActionA passionate lifelong affair with your wife or husband can do wonders in your work life too. You are happy and relaxed and your body glows with the healing effects of healthy loving sex. The love you shower on your children is also reciprocated many times over.

A man is truly respected if he excels in all his roles – as a worker, a son, a husband and a father (and even a grandfather) and a community member. Devote time and passion to all these roles. When you have genuinely mastered the art of passion, you will find that it pervades every minute of your day, be it in the boardroom or bedroom or playroom.

Passion can become a double-edged sword if not wielded properly. Spending hours and hours of obsessed extra time at the workplace can affect your health as well as your family relations. Neglecting to attend your son’s school events and not cheering him at his football match can create an alienation that can never be repaired. An unfulfilled spouse can also prove very damaging in the long run. A marriage can fall apart and a string of unhappy one night stands can never take the place of a loving caring relationship.

Passion is not about throwing huge family parties where everyone can feed on your wealth. It isn’t about giving a no-limit credit card to your wife or the latest bike to your son. It is spending time and effort to share your life and soul with your loved ones. Passion lies in transmitting your passion for life to your children, your wife and all around you.
