Everyone knows Walt Disney, and everyone knows what an inspiration he was to so many. But what about that quote? Do you believe that? Do you believe that if you dream it you can do it? What have you dreamed of doing? Do you believe that you can do it?

I do. I believe it. I not only believe that I can do what I dream, but I believe you can do what you dream, too! I think the important thing is to first have a dream. I think that’s where people often fall down. I believe people don’t allow themselves to dream enough. How can you do what you dream if you don’t even give yourself permission to dream?

I thoroughly believe that one of the biggest secrets to success in business or in life, is giving yourself permission to dream. And then you have to actually give yourself space and time to do it! I really mean it. You HAVE to clear space in your busy calendar to dream. You can call it visualization, you can call it doing a vision board, or journaling, or you can just flat out call it daydreaming. I don’t mind… call it whatever you like. Just find a time, ideally daily, but at least once or twice a week, and put it on your calendar! Treat it like you would any other important appointment. Make it important and follow through with it.

When you make time to dream, you will be surprised at what you are able to accomplish. When you give yourself permission to put aside the “have to’s” and “must’s” and go into the space of “what if,” you never know what you may find… and once you have a dream… well, I, like Walt Disney there, believe you can do it!
